Walking football is a slower paced version of the sport, with no running, low impact and and no overhead kicks.

It takes place every Wednesday during summer months between 7.30pm and 9pm on the kick about area above the playgrounds and the pond.

Coaching is kindly provided free by Nigel Tear of Bristol Rovers Community Trust.

  • No need to pre-register, just turn up
  • Join in anytime between 7.30pm and 9pm
  • Open to all residents (male and female) of Hanham Hall
  • All abilities – no previous football experience necessary
  • One hour session with break, weather permitting
  • Suitable footwear required e.g trainers (no studded boots)
  • Ball boys and girls also welcome!
  • No charge – free event!
